History of Northbray

Northbray was founded by Garry Owen CMgr FCMI MIOD in 1989 and initially provided support to small and medium size businesses, offering a bespoke service for training and business projects as well as systems and management organisation and advice. This service developed into offering short term 6 month contracts.

Rebecca Colton has also worked in industry and also worked in training and  FE colleges delivering and Co-ordinating AAT courses and Business courses and has an excellent reputation with students and employers she has worked with for both delivery and pass rates she achieves with the students.

AAT Accounts Training in Worksop and Retford

Northbray is pleased to announce it is now working in partnership with MGM Training Academy and can offer the following accountancy courses at the newly opened branch of MGM Training Academy in Retford:

All courses are available via part-time classroom courses, flexible learning (combination of distance learning and focus days), and distance learning only, onsite training at your place of work (terms and conditions apply).

Our prices include tuition and revision and  online course notes.  Please note prices do not include AAT membership, textbooks or any exam sittings.

Classroom courses start January 2014 and the flexible/distance learning options and onsite delivery start throughout the year.

Bookkeeping

If you are a new business or a small business that is expanding it is essential to have up to date information.  Your bookkeeping records are required by HMRC if you are self employed and if you are a Limited company, you have a statutory requirement to keep books and records.

These records can provide you with value information to help you make informed business decisions.

We can come to your premises and discuss how you like to record your information, in a book if you are not familiar with computers or on a computerised package and help with set up and support you in the initial stages. 

We can offer training to you and your staff for as long and as often as you need it, or if the whole process is too much for you we can come to you and complete the bookkeeping for you!

If you decide to go with a computerized package we can train staff and if required even work with them towards gaining a qualification
